Exceptions
Professional services that have already been performed, custom reports delivered, or workshops completed are generally non-refundable except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. If you purchase digital templates explicitly marked as downloadable goods, different cooling-off rules may apply under Hungarian consumer law when the transaction qualifies as a distance contract with a consumer; we describe any exception at checkout if such products are offered in the future.

Scope
This policy covers fees paid directly to PulseForge Embedded for consulting engagements initiated through asset-station.digital or countersigned proposals. Third-party expenses such as travel, equipment rentals, or facility fees are passed through as agreed and are not marked up unless a written fee schedule states otherwise. Taxes are handled according to invoices and applicable law.
Process
To request a refund or credit, email contact@asset-station.digital with invoice numbers, payment dates, and a concise explanation. We acknowledge receipt within five business days and provide a written decision within twenty business days unless complexity requires more time, in which case we explain the delay. Approved refunds are executed using the original payment method where technically possible.
Eligibility
Eligibility depends on contract type. For fixed-scope engagements, refunds may be available for prepaid milestones not yet started if cancellation occurs before kickoff and no confidential materials were exchanged. For retainers, unused prepaid hours may be credited forward rather than refunded, as stated in the proposal. Consumers in Hungary may have additional rights for distance contracts; we honor those rights where they apply.
Timeframe
Where a statutory cooling-off period applies to eligible consumers, you may cancel within fourteen days of purchase without giving a reason, unless an exception applies because performance began with your express consent. For business clients, contractual milestones define cancellation windows. Refund processing after approval typically completes within fourteen business days, subject to banking rails.
Partial performance
If work partially completed provides value and consumable effort, we may propose a partial refund or a credit toward a revised scope rather than a full refund. We document hours and deliverables to support transparency. If a dispute arises, parties will first attempt negotiated resolution before escalating to courts indicated in the Terms of Use.
Chargebacks and fraud
If you initiate a chargeback while continuing to use deliverables, we may suspend access until the dispute is resolved. Fraudulent payment claims may be reported to relevant authorities where permitted. We cooperate with enterprise client procurement teams to reconcile purchase orders and invoices before disputes escalate.
Currency and rounding
Invoices are issued in Hungarian Forints unless another currency is explicitly agreed in writing. Minor rounding differences may appear due to currency conversion; the invoice amount controls. International wires may incur fees charged by intermediaries; those fees are outside our control and are not automatic grounds for refund unless duplicate payment is proven.
Recordkeeping
We retain refund correspondence and accounting records as required by tax and audit obligations. Records may include wire confirmations, credit notes, and email threads. After statutory retention expires, we delete or anonymize records consistent with the Privacy Statement. You may request a summary of your refund history related to your account email address.
